LOCATIONS:          Cardiff 

SALARY:                 (Negotiable depending on experience)

HOURS:                   30 – 37.5 Hours per week (Negotiable)

HOLIDAY:               18 – 24 days holiday

 

 

A Finance Assistant is required to assist the Finance Manager due to recent growth in sales and staffing levels throughout the company.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Assistant to help with the operation of the Finance function, which is located at the ECL Head Office in Cardiff.

 

The Role will involve:

  • Issuing invoices to customers & investigating any delays in payment
  • Logging and Payment of supplier invoices
  • Allocating Purchase Orders
  • Checking and processing staff expenses claims
  • Assist with Bank account and credit card reconciliations
  • Liaise with our external payroll provider on the monthly payroll
  • Provide support with the operation of the company pension scheme
  • Initial Point of telephone/e-mail contact for finance queries

 

The ideal candidate will preferably be fully or part-qualified AAT, or have an equivalent level of at least 3 years’ practical accounting experience. Experience of using Sage accounting software is desirable.

Our normal working week is 37.5 hours but this is open to discussion and we can consider a minimum of 30 hours per week if flexibility is required. A competitive salary is offered.
